Alcanzar vs. conseguir?

Alcanzar vs. conseguir?

Another question.. :)

Is there a difference in the use of 'alcanzar' and 'conseguir'?

Alcanzar I think is often used as to obtain, or to physically reach? Can it also be used as ' to succeed at' or 'to achieve'? (I think I have come across it being used in such a context?)

And in which cases would it be better to use 'conseguir' in terms of succeeding at something, of achieving something? Or are they more or less interchangeable?

iMuchas Gracias!

'Alcanzar' has more meanings than 'conseguir'. 'Conseguir' means 'alcanzar', but 'alcanzar' doesn't mean 'conseguir'.

'Conseguir' also means 'lograr', 'llegar a ser' and 'obtener'

No consigo entenderte = no alcanzo a entenderte.
