How do you use the term "cocinero consagrado"? When you say it, what do you mean?

Consagrated is something beyond good.
It's a term generally referred to a holy. It often refers to land. Example: That burial ground is consegrated land

A term more commonly used for an artist or an idea would be sacred cow.
For example: Shakespeare and Cervantes are sacred cows. No critic would dare to give these great writers a bad review for fear that it may display their own ignorance.
Very often the term sacred cow is used ironically for a hack whose work, for some reason, everyone respects.

consagrado in Spanish also means that there´s no doubt about his skills.
