Siempre se me olvida la diferencia entre las palabras indicadas. ¿Cuándo se usa cada?

Esa buena pregunta, y no tengo duda que en cada país se las usan diferentamente.

También sé "pérdoname". Nunca estoy seguro de que cuánta palabra sea correcta.

Si no recuerdo mal, cuando estaba en Uruguay y Perú este verana, se usa "con permiso" si alguien está en tu camino y que necesita que se mueva. Pero, sé que hay una diferencia entre todos....

Para mi........

-Perdón
Siempre que estoy obstruyendo el paso o la vista de alguien pero solo por un momento.
Llegué tarde al teatro y tengo que molestar a 2 o 3 personas para llegar a mi asiento.

-Perdone
Si le voy a preguntar algo a la persona.
Perdone, ¿es aquí donde para el autobús #20?

-Lo siento
Igual que "perdón". Adicionalmente si acaso he hecho algo que le molesta a la otra persona.
Discúlpeme/Perdón/Lo siento no quise mojarlo con mi refresco.

-Con permiso
Excuse me. Vas hacer una pregunta. Quieres notificarle a alguien que vas a pasar, que te estorban para pasar, etc.
Te excusas porque vas al tocador.

- perdón = lo siento = disculpe/disculpa (reactive, when needing to bother or intrude, cuando molestando).
- perdone = con permiso (active, 'excuse me' when about to ask directions/ a question/ a favour -para pedir un favor o hacer una pregunta).

Mi mejor amiga está Peruana que vive en Nueva York. Ellos (ella y su esposo y su hijo) me visitaban el último fin de semana. Cuando su hijo hizo algo malo, él decía "Perdon" una y otra vez. Yo estaba sorprendido. Pensé que sería "lo siento". Esto me hizo pensar.... (Siempre es peligroso!!) :)

No, quiero decir que hizo algo realmente malo (se burlaba de su madre y la golpeó y realmente daño!). Siguió diciendo, una y otra vez, "perdon!" ... "perdon!" Como disculpándose lo sacaría de problema...

Cuando haces algo malo, pides perdón:

Pido perdón a Dios por mis pecados.
El acusado pidió perdón a los familiares de la víctima.

Puedes distinguir entre:

Perdón (general, tú/usted - vosotros/ustedes)
Perdone (usted) o perdonen (ustedes)
Perdona (tú) o perdonad (vosotros)

También puedes añadir el pronombre:

Perdóname, no lo haré más.
Perdónalo, que no sabe lo que hace.
Perdónenme por llegar tarde.

-Disculpe/Discúlpeme/Perdone/Perdóneme/Con permiso
-Perdón/Perdóname/Lo siento/Disculpe/Discúlpeme/Disculpa

Sorry, Ookami - I'm not quite sure what you're getting at here. I guess I wonder when I would use "disculpe" instead of "con permiso", etc.....

Sorry for not explain. In the first sentence, I use all as synonyms in the context of asking someone to move or asking someone something(interrumping his freedom). In the second, all are almost the same for me when saying you are sorry... and I think there are more options.

I was re-reading this thread this morning and I want to ask you to explain this last part just a little bit more, Irma.

In the first ("perdóname"), I am asking to excuse ME.
In the second ("perdónalo"), I am asking to excuse someone ELSE.
In the third, I'm not sure what the "-nen-" part signifies ("perdónenme"), nor do I understand how it is different than the first two in meaning. THANKS!!

She's asking several people (ustedes) to excuse her rather than one.

OH!! So the "perdon-" part is conjugated according to whom you are speaking. I GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! Amazing that it can take me SO long to understand these things!!!!!!! :p

The meaning of this phrase are different at least they've different usages into of the Spanish, I'll try to give you example about as you can use them into of the Spanish, please if you have question, then you don't hesitate to ask us.

Lo siento señora por hacerlo. In this case you can exchange both phrases ( Lo siento and Diculpeme)


The last sentence is used when you are walking in the street in there are a lot of people in you need to cross through to people.

Joven por favor con permiso.
