Also you can say Cerillos instead of Fosforos, at least here in Mexico is known it as Cerillos, at most not is used the word Fosforos for this place.

In Spain we say "cerillas" ;). Pueden ser normales (rascando con cualquier superficie se encienden) y de seguridad (necesitan un tipo de papel de lija especial). El fósforo suele ser la cabeza de la cerilla, ya que está compuesta de este material.

¿Alguien en la vida cotidiana dice "fósforos"?

Sí, se usa fósforo la gente del caribe pero se entiende cerrillo/a tambien.

Nosotros en chile los llamamos fósforos también. :)

Are you using the David's program for accents? or did you change anything in your local settings for languages lately?

Something is not converting correctly between versions of windows or whatever...

yes I am. I'm using the program for accents. I've had it for several days and only today it was weird

How weird! Only today it has been working acting up...

Then, it must not be it.

Character encoding. The e-mail is encoded in UTF-8 and your client appears to be treating it as ISO-8859-1. Probably a bug in the server's mailer code.

Can you view full headers in the e-mail and see whether it has a "Content-Type:" header?

There is a traditional tale called The little match girl (La vendedora de fósforos) that I love. Very sad, though.:sad:

Hans Christian Andersen's classic... I used to cry a lot as a child when I read it. Here I've seen it translated as "La vendedora de cerillas" (even though in Mexico it's "cerillos", of course). Those must have been Spanish translations. :)
