Telefonearte

Is it correct if I said:

After calling you up...

The sentence is:

Después de telefonearte...

Thanks :)

Yours might be OK in the USA . I would say "after telephoning you ..." or "after phoning you ..."

So, to call up is AmE. And make a call?

That's AmE as well. In the UK it would be to (tele)phone someone or make a telephone call to someone.

Thanks :)

I studied a couple of courses with an AmE method, and I use many AmE words or expressions.

Pues creo que yo diría "I need to phone my sister", pero si alguien me llama cuando estoy ocupado le diré "I'll call you back later". Nunca digo "to telephone", eso me suena muy anticuado.

Also to ring or to give someone a ring.

OK. Thanks everybody :)
