tounge tied
I just noticed the newest member here on the forums is called tounge tied, and I was wondering how to say it in Spanish.
I believe 'tongue-tied', not quite the name of the newest member, is said 'lengua trabada'. Compare with 'un trabalenguas', a tongue-twister, and 'trabar la lengua', the act of being tongue-tied.

Awesome Rusty, thanks for the info.
I think this came from an ancient medieval practice of actually tying people's tongues so they couldn't talk.
I'm glad I'm not living in Medieval times..........I'd hate to have my tongue tied!!:p
