Ser/Estar vivo
Estar vivo = to be alive
Ser vivo = to be sharp Correct? So, does "sharp" mean "smart"? Or does it literally mean sharp like a knife? |
Smart.
You are getting good at this. :-) |
I agree. It's "smart". :)
|
"Ser vivo" = "living being", too. :D

Please allow me to clarify. Irmamar, would you mind giving me an example of "ser vivo" used in a SPANISH sentence where it means "living being"? Thank you VERY much!! |

Perikles is right. :)
¿Cómo puedes tratar así a un animal? Al fin y al cabo, es un ser vivo. :) I said that because it was the first thing that came to my mind when I read "ser vivo". ;) A human being - un ser humano. A living being - un ser vivo. :) |
FABULOUS example, thanks, Irmamar!! :D

I apparently wasn't specific enough. You're like my students who love to argue semantics rather than learn math. :D
