Nothing was done by halves
Lo traduzco como "no se hizo nada a medias"
to do things by halves (colloquial) = hacer las cosas a medias. Anyone has a better translation or any comment about this? (Is this common in AmE or BrE? or both?) |
It is quite common in BrE. In the negative it is litotes, meaning that everything was done correctly or even over the top with no expense spared. :)

Thank you, Perikles! :)
Not bad at all! (Another rhetorical understatement or litotes!) :) |
