At full speed means a toda velocidad,
how do we say in English A medio gas?
and a poca velocidad?

A medio gas = A half tank

Poca velocidad = slow speed.. we never say little speed.

A medio gas means that you can´t go very fast for whatever reason.
It´s used in multiple contexts.
Circulaba a medio gas
Hoy he trabajado a medio gas.
No me gusta como trabaja, trabaja a medio gas.
etcc...

I use: Working on three cylanders.

As an English term?

In a Google search I find 175 hits for "working on three cylinders"... some of the examples in a figurative usage, and some others referring to an engine, a car, etc.
But, is this the same or is it "less" or "lower" performance than expected?
Like in this example I quote from my search,
"I have been unsuccessful because now I'm barely working on three cylinders. My life isn't as balanced as I would like it to be and I have ..." :thinking:

"A medio gas" can also translate to "at half-throttle", be it in a car,
or in the work place...

I've only ever heard it as 'not firing on all four cylinders' which means 'under the weather' or 'not on form'
