Y'all busted
How would you traduce "y'all busted" into Spanish?
Estáis reventados. Estáis hechos polvo. Estáis "jodidos" Os han jodido Estáis pringados. The above are some options... but some of them are "too strong". The English is strong in itself, but not "offensive" ('jodido' in Spanish is offensive language, as in the f. word in English.) Any one have a bright idea on how to say this in a 'slangy' way in Spanish? (I include the link to the video, so you can get the context...) For Spain, maybe "la pringaste" o "pringasteis" with the mixed senses of "dying" or "failure" may work as well. A word or expression for a Mexican, Chile, Argentinean or other more or less 'slangy' way to say it will be appreciated. |
I think these can be understood in many countries (I use "ustedes" instead of "vosotros"):
· Están fritos. · Están muertos. · Están acabados. Mexican slang: · La regaron. (Which puts an emphasis on the fact that you did something wrong --it can be said in harsher words. And btw, in Colombian colloquial words, the equivalent is "la embarraron".) · Ya valieron. · Ya bailaron. · Ya se fregaron (which is a soft form of "se jodieron") ...and there are some stronger expressions that I won't quote. |
Hey, thank you very much, Angélica. These are excellent options... :)

En chileno puro "cagaron"
Un poco fuerte, pero es lo que hay... :) |
All of them seem good and convey the point to me... especially 'os han jodido' haha
