Un ejemplo sencillo sería:

If the opinions are opposing, you could say it like this: "I want to paint the room blue. On the other hand, John would prefer to paint it orange." :wicked::whistling:

¿Otra vez "On the other hand"? :lol: Tú no has puesto "on the one hand", by the way. :thinking:

Algebra is horrible. I prefer analysis. ;)

Can't get to the analysis without a basic understanding of Algebra. I'm teaching a 2nd year Algebra course this year - and haven't used that level of math since university over two decades ago. Ack!! Lots of studying to do!! :crazy:

I used "on the other hand" on purpose. If you go to that thread, you will see my example without "on one hand", and that is why I wrote what I wrote here ... VERY intentionally!!

I'm going to read it now. There've been a lot of threads to read and I haven't been able to arrive to that one. And I have to go to sleep 'siesta' immediately, I have to do a lot of things this evening. :) Ya estoy estresada :crazy: :D
