Una abejita trabajadora.
Maybe in Spain one says (for the same concept) "una hormiguita trabajadora".

Any other ideas for the SPANISH?

In googling this phrase I found it in another context (different from what I was translating, but interesting too, and maybe close enough in sense, even if used more sarcastically or ironically here.)

para tu diálogo, yo usaría "abejita atareada" ó la hormiguita trabajadora.

Aquí, a los niños que hacen bien su tarea en el kinder, las educadoras les ponen un sello con una abejita trabajadora en sus cuadernos (probable calca del inglés, pero "abejita trabajadora" suena perfectamente claro y natural para nosotros). :D

En Chile se entiende lo de hormiguita trabajadora.

No se si hoy en día se entienda lo de "abejita trabajadora", tomando en cuenta que ahora celebran "Halloween" y rompen piñatas en los cumpleaños. :)

Gracias a todos... sí, lo genuinamente español es la hormiguita... pero la abejita es también comprensible... (Mientras no hablemos de un elefantito aplicado... creo que no hay problema... ;) :))
