Weak-kneed fighter

Weak-kneed fighter

The attackers look like a weak-kneed fighter who has been pulled off the mat the third time, and his manager is standing over there looking anxiously around the sparring partners for a new boy...

Translated as,

Two questions, yes, "fighter" is "luchador, p
úgil, pugilista"... but is this the optimum translation?

Any better option for "weak-kneed fighter"?

Also, in the register of combats... is "entrenador" the best for "manager"? Or is it better to use "
mánager" directly?

Also, I found,
weak-kneed - lacking will power or resolution; "the role of the dissenter is not for the weak-kneed" irresolute - uncertain how to act or proceed; "the committee was timid and mediocre and irresolute”

So, another possibility could be,

You can try to avoid the weak-kneed thing....
The attackers look like a weak-kneed fighter who has been pulled off the mat the third time, and his manager is standing over there looking anxiously around the sparring partners for a new boy...

saludos :D
