Constructor social
It is difficult for me to find an English word for the Spanish expressin constructor social. Perhaps we can use the same words, but in opposite order? Than it will be social constructor. Perhaps it can be society builder?
|
I believe "society builder" may be more appropriate and common (English natives may or may not agree... but I tend to think they will)
My question is that I don't know exactly what "constructor social" actually means in Spanish. What context did you get this "constructor social"? Referring to some humanitarian? Somebody who does a lot of work getting people working together for a common-constructive cause? |
'social builder' is a possibility, but without context it is not satisfactory.

In a Norwegian newspaper I read an aricle about a famous Norwegian lay preacher, religious reformer and trade and industry founder. His name is Hans Nielsen Hauge. He lived from 1771 - 1824. I tried to find an English word for the Norwegian word "samfunnsbygger" in Ordnett.no (internett dictionary), but I only found Spanish expression constructor social. Then I tried to find the English expression, but I did not find any.

Reading about his life I would conclude that he was a social reformer.

I agree that "reformador social" or "arquitecto social" seems to be the right terms -sort of Solon in Athens-. In Spanish "constructor social", "constructo social" and "construccionismo social" are used within sociological theories of knowledge.
|
What you meant with Constructor Social?
It can be a person with social reformer in the case of a person who build a reform between the people or the society. A person who does a reform like a migrant reform. That is my commentary and it's not a answer toward your question. Sincerely yours. |
