Ago, as in two days ago

Well, I'm very amateur in spanish so I was looking for a proper way to say ago for example two days ago we went on a field trip, in that context, thank you for your help.

Yes I agree with the translation of my buddy Chileno.

for example one year ago I went to Chiapas city.

Hace un año fui a Chiapas.

Therefore the use proper of the word AGO in Spanish is relatively needed for indicate the pass time.
