Drive-shaft linkage
I understand this is some type of mechanical term, for cars or motorbikes... although it may be for drums accessories...
It is used in my context in a figurative way, in the sense of "key link" or "key linkage" "connection". Anyone knows what it actually means, and/or any picture of the "beast"? |
Driveshaft (no hyphen)
The linkage is the connector used to attach the shaft to the engine. See if this picture helps any. http://www.flickr.com/photos/9078276@N03/2492044549 I hope a more mechanically-minded member will chip in. |
Thank you, Rusty. (I guess that's fine... I don't have to specialize on the matter... just to have an idea.)
