Enternecidas
Could someone please tell me the meaning of "enternecidas", i cant seem to
find it in any of the dictionaries. Thanks very much |
My guess is that it's from enternecer, to move, touch, and is the past participle used adjectivally, with a feminine plural ending.
So they (feminine) were moved, touched (emotionally) It is so much easier if you give a word in context, you know. :) |
agree with perikles.
Las dos abuelas quedaron enternecidas al ver a su nieta cantar. Both grandmas were deeply touched/moved seeing their granddaugther singing. Saludos :D |

It is always nice to know when someone actually looks up before asking. :D |
Sometimes suffixes can puzzle us if we don't remember them. Deborah, try to remember -ado, -ido are past participles, so you can look for enternec-... (ar/er/ir, if you don't know the conjugation). :twocents:
Welcome back, by the way. :) |
