Chapusero?? Meanings
Hello everyone, I'm looking for the closest translation to this word in English. I originally thought it meant someone that was a cheater, but I've also heard it could be someone that does a job half-ass'd. Please help...:)
Thank you... Joe31969 |
I am not spanish, but
like you said it could be one of those words we give several distinctly varied definitions. I am now interested in how this word is used. [ Chapusero ] |

I agree with Sosia. :) |
You can also say, he is a chapuzas. In Spain it means sb who doesn´t do his job well, if a builder, or a plumber go to your house, and they don´t fix the job properly, they are called chapuceros.
Sometimes "hacer chapuzas" means to do some jobs on the side to get extra money. |
I always thought that a "chapucero" was a "hack" -worst slang meaning: not knowledgeable person who does crappy work-. At least, in my personal dictionary I have => hack = chapucero / improvisado / practicón, señas particulares: torpe
|
It can also mean "embustero", a liar.
