Dormir in Preterite

I believe Vd. duerme and Vds. duermen becomes Vd. durmio and Vds. durmieron in the Preterite, but here it's shown to be dormio and dormieron.

A que hora querrías encontrarnos?

Or is 'preferir' better?

A que hora prefieres encontrarnos?

Also, is 'encontrarnos' or 'vernos' better?
