What I do is combine something I love to do /...
What I do is combine something I love to do / learn and then search for that in english.
Ex, I love anything astronomy, so instead of reading or watching it in spanish I just look for it in english....

I would recommend reading spanish novels...
I would recommend reading spanish novels specifically writen for the spanish learner, something like Mariana Ferrer "Amor a Primera Vista" and the like. Those are easy reads for starters that are not...
