So you're saying "El portátil tiene Carlos." means Carlos has the notebook? So how would one say "The notebook has Carlos?" (grammatically correct but illogical)?

For me, with Spanish, it has more to do with how tired I am. If I have plenty of energy, I can understand most Preschool or Kindergarten level tv shows with the Spanish subtitles on, or non-fiction...
