Would you say "pintor con un estilo" or "pintor en un estilo"?

Would you say "pintor con un estilo" or "pintor en un estilo"?

"El Greco pintó figuras religiosas con un estilo dramático."

or

"El Greco pintó figuras en un estilo dramático." ?

"Pintó figuras en un estilo dramático" would mean the style in which they were painted should be called "dramático".

"Pintó figuras con un estilo dramático" could either mean his own style was "dramático" or that the images were "dramáticas".
