"El" is the definite article for masculine singular.
"La" -> Feminine singular "Los" -> Masculine plural "Las" -> Feminine plural "Él" is the pronoun for the third person, singular in masculine ("he").

That's correct.
You can see the rules for written accents in post #2 in this thread. ![]() By the way, there is a rule for one-syllable words, which says they should not have a written accent, but "él"/"el", "tú"/"tu", "de"/"dé"... are exceptions to mark the difference in nature of some words.
