Carta de Roberto, en California, a un amigo en México

I got this task to pretend that I'm a mexican who sneaked through the border into USA, and I'm writing a letter to my friend back in Mexico.
Can anyone see mistakes in this text? (I know I suck at spanish..)

Estoy en California ilegal, vivo en un pueblo pequeño.
Estaba muy nervioso cubado cruze en la frontera de USA.
Me decidí a ir porque estaba cansado de la pobreza.
Por suerte, yo trabajo con barrer el piso de la tienda de mi abuelo.
Así que puedo ganar dinero suficiente para comprar alimentos.
!Hace buen tiempo en California, veinte grados y mas sol!
¿Cómo te sientes como en casa en México?
Tenemos que reunificamos una vez más el próximo año.

Thread title's capital letters fixed and thread moved to the right forum.

I see you have inserted some accents, so try doing that with all words that need them. On top of forum dialog boxes there is a dropdown menu for inserting all Spanish characters, including opening exclamation marks.

In addition to the corrections already mentioned, if the letter is from Roberto, as the title says, the wrong signature appears at the bottom.
