Hola. Wriggly here!

Hola, mi nombre es Wriggly.

I'm completely and utterly new to Spanish. I am 14 years old, and I currently live in New Zealand. My family is planning on moving to a Spanish-speaking nation in 2015/2016, so I wanted to begin learning Spanish early. On top of that, my family is planning on visiting Europe next year, so I'd really like to touch-up on my Spanish skills when we enter Spain. =)

I've been taking Spanish for about a month now, but I've been taking French for about 1 1/2 years. I'm also learning New Zealand Sign Language and taking an online course in Interlingua (an auxiliary language).

That's about it really. I can't wait to get settled into this community, it looks promising!

Why exactly a Spanish-speaking nation?

Ah, I had a feeling someone would ask this. A couple of reasons. Firstly, my dad's work situation, and second, I personally want to pursue a career in ESOL (basically teaching English) to those in South America. I plan on doing a course in ESOL in New Zealand before we leave.
