Tenía la esperanzas de un mejor explination para el uso de un y una.
We English speakers learning Spanish make mistakes with when and when not to use un and una. If the noun doesn't have a ajective then we just say the noun without the un or una. For example in the well know song in Spanish "Para bailar la bamba." "Yo no soy marinero, soy capitán." In English we would say "I am not a sailor, I am a captain." However add an adjective and it would be: Yo no soy un marinero bueno, soy un capitán bueno. Put an adjective with the noun and then you need the un or una. ¿Preguntas? un/una=a/an Last edited by Villa; March 06, 2014 at 05:09 PM. |
