No or not
umh Hola! Buenas noches.
    Es una duda que he tenido hace tiempo, cuando utilizar el No y cuando el Not, he leído algunos textos en inglés y en ocasiones utilizan el Not y otras el No. ¿Cuál es la diferencia entre ambos? ¿Se utilizan en estructuras diferentes?  Saludos gracias a todos por leer y responder. |

Aparte de lo que los usuarios que tienen el inglés como lengua materna tengan que decir, "no" se usa para responder a preguntas binarias y cuando se usa como "ningún", y "not" cuando se usa para introducir una negación en una oración. -- Are you working today? (¿Trabajas Hoy?) -- No, today it's Labour day. (No, hoy es Dia del Trabajo.) -- Do you know how to use this machine? (¿Sabes usar esta máquina?) -- No. - There are no children in this building. (No hay niños en este edificio.) - I hear no sounds in that room. (No oigo ruido en ese cuarto.) - I am not an engineer, I'm a doctor. (No soy ingeniero, soy doctor.) - I don't (do not) like apples. (No me gustan las manzanas.)
