"shall" expressing obligation
Hello everybody!
I’ve got a question about translating «shall» into Spanish. Here are some examples of translation from English into Spanish. 1.The President shall be Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States El Presidente será comandante en jefe del ejercito y la marina de los Estados Unidos 2. The effect of wind loading shall be taken into account in the design of exposed piping. El efecto de la carga de viento deberá tenerse en cuenta en el diseño de tubería expuesta. 3.No one shall be held in slavery or servitude Nadie estará sometido a esclavitud ni a servidumbre Does it mean that shall in sense of obligation is rendered with future tense? |
