El tema de esta sección es "la pasiva refleja / la pasiva refleja". Las preguntas son negritas. Por favor, corrija mis respuestas.

Direcciones: Contesta las preguntas.

1) ¿Qué se lee en los periódicos? En los periódicos se leen las noticias.
2) ¿Qué se comenta en la calle? En la calle se comenta sobre la mezquita cerca la zona cero.
3) ¿Dónde se come bien? Se come bien en el restaurante Osaka.
4) ¿Dónde se habla francés? Se habla francés en Quebec.
5) ¿Qué se compra en el mercado? En el mercado se compra comida.
6) ¿Qué se bebe en tu casa? En mi casa se bebe vino tinto.

No estoy seguro de algunas sutilezas (niceties) o detalles...

*¿Zona Cero? (I am not sure if these two words would be I-capped in Spanish.)
* Probably you would write "restaurante Osaka" or write it in quotess "Osaka".
*Quebec probably would use the French spelling Québec, comme il faut!
*One point of "real life" communication is that if you were having a real conversation and someone asked you these questions, most likely you would not "repeat" the question, but your answers would be like
1) Las noticias
2) Lo de la mezquita de la Zona Cero
3) En Osaka... el restaurante japonés.
4) En Québec.
5) Comida.
6) Vino tinto.

(At any rate, in terms of the drill, your answers are probably the way that your professors most likely like them... so just evaluate my answer for what it is.)

<-- Honestly, as a teacher, when a question is given in sentence form, it should be answered in sentence form (when doing written or oral work for a class). I even require it of my mathematics students when answering word problems! That's the difference between conversational language and more formal academic language.

(I checked La Vanguardia, a leading Barcelona newspaper, and they also have lots of 'zona cero' but some Zona Cero as well, and then "zona cero" (with quotes, to make sure it is not a "generic" "ground zero" but the ground zero at Manhattan...) (So I guess you are totally fine with "zona cero".)

Ah, yup, I figured up that "Osaka" was not a Bantu name... and by a fast process of elimination (let's see, it is not Spanish, it is not Bulgarian, not Croatian, not Turkish, not Austrian, not Dutch...) No, actually I also love sushi... Last time I was at the Heathrow airport, they have a nice sushi place there... where you can take as many miso soups as you want... and well... just to not get off the subject of the "pasiva refleja" I must say: allí se toma sopa y se come sushi... de lo más rico...
