P.s, i use them to practice listening because i find it easier to understand written Spanish.

I have been watching two types of shows: cooking shows and a documentary type of 'animal' show.

The cooking gives lots of good verbs and food vocab and they speak more quickly.

The 'animal and cultural' documentaries have a slightly slower and clearer pronunciation.

They are regular shows on TV. Youtube has a lot also.

I cannot recommend a particular TV show, but a couple of movies I've downloaded and have watched a couple of movies many times, such as "Like water for chocolate."

I have trouble understanding the Mexican tv shows and movies at this stage of my learning because Mexican Spanish (in my experience) is spoken quickly with what seems to be vowel reduction.

I will check out youtube for cooking shows, i would like to learn some food vocabulary and it would be a fun way to practice.
