Ill
¿Me podéis corregir?"
"There's a bug going around" "Hay un virus rondando por ahí" (Often in english we say this at school, if a lot of children are sick.) "He's been ill for a while now/ 2 weeks." "Ha estado enfermo por un buen rato ahora/ por 2 semanas" "Está enfermo ya hace un buen rato/dos semanas" "He keeps getting ill, he'll catch one bug and then as soon as he starts to get better he gets another, I'm wondering if his immune system is lacking something" "Constantemente se pone enfermo, cogerá un virus y tan pronto cómo empieza mejorar coge otro, estoy preguntando si el sistema inmunológico falta algo" Gracias |

Hola jellybabe,
Okay let see if I can help: "There's a virus going around" virus instead of bug. "He has been ill for a while now/2 weeks" "El sigue poniéndose enfermo, agarra una enfermedad y entonces tan pronto se empieza a mejorar agarra otra, me pregunto si le falta algo a su sistema inmunológico". |

Bicho in the Caribbean (Puerto Rico in particular) is a rude word. More likely you will hear un flu or un gripe even if it's not the flu.
