Conocer vs saber
Pimsleur doesn't ever explain anything, which is very frustrating. They will switch between using conocer and saber and not really say why. Here's an example that is really confusing me:
She knows the address sabe la dirección Do you know maria's address? ¿conoces la dirección de maria? I already know it ya la se They're both talking about knowing information (an address). Shouldn't they both be saber? I'm guessing conoces is being used because there is a person in the question? Last edited by barefootjon; November 07, 2021 at 07:31 AM. |
