Learning Spanish (and History!) through short stories
Iñaki over at historiasconhistoria.es has commemorated the site's 3rd year anniversary by giving away a free ebook of short historical stories in Spanish.
The "Historias con historia" ebook isn't bilingual and the level of reading is advanced, however, it's free, so you can beat that. I particularly like reading short stories (fiction or non-fiction) in Spanish and have several books like "Stories from Spain" which are bilingual. Now that I'm at an advanced level, I can do without the side-by-side format and can read longer and longer texts, but I still prefer short stories. Hope you find it useful too!

Thanks for the info. I think I'll mosey on down and read some of the stories. I LOVE SHORT STORIES.
