I would like to learn so I can also travel to Argentina and stay there for a while and study there next year. I would like to learn/speak the Spanish my family spoke, for example, they used vos instead of tu I remember, and I'd like to still be able to speak the same way using voseo as they do. If there are any people who speak like that or are from Argentina, I would appreciate if you'd help me out by trying to get me used to speaking it and telling me anything I should know.

Hola che Dancer. Yo soy Villa. Bienvenido al forum. No seas boludo che!
Hello Dancer. I am Villa. Welcome to the forum.
A person who speaks Spanish fairly well, no matter the accent they have can learn to speak with an Argentine accent in no time. My friend/compadre(Godfather of my daughter) is from Argentina and I have been talking with him, his family and Argentine friends in Spanish for many years. He has a swimming pool and we get together all the time for Argentine parties and barbecues with all the great variety of Argentine meats. I have learned to imitate his Argentine accent so well that people think I'm from argentina from the way I speak with an Argentine accent. A funny little story is that my friend married a Cuban Black woman. She is a native Spanish speaker naturally and quickly learned to speak with an Argentine accent. When she speaks by phone people think that she is Argentina. Even the Cubans think she is from Argentina inpite of her physical appearance especially when talking on the phone. So do not worry you will learn to speak like somebody from Argentina from being around them. In the meantime and in between time just learn to speak Spanish no matter what the accent. Get Argentine movies and soap operas. I use to watch Argentine novelas
aqui en California pero ya no hay.
