'Asegurarse de que' is the phrase you're looking for, and a subjunctive clause will follow the conjunction 'que'.

¿Qué tal ahora?
Since 'vigilar' appears in the infinitive it is more natural to also leave 'asegurarse' in the infinitive (but person agreement is still needed for the reflexive pronoun). Your subjunctive clause is perfect.
