Ill

¿Me podéis corregir?"

"There's a bug going around"
"Hay un virus rondando por ahí" (Often in english we say this at school, if a lot of children are sick.)

"He's been ill for a while now/ 2 weeks."

"He keeps getting ill, he'll catch one bug and then as soon as he starts to get better he gets another, I'm wondering if his immune system is lacking something"

Gracias

Hola jellybabe,

Okay let see if I can help: "There's a virus going around" virus instead of bug.
"He has been ill for a while now/2 weeks"

@Jellybabe: Depending on the region, for "bug", when we don't know if it's a virus or another kind of infectious being, we can say "bicho" or "microbio".

Bicho in the Caribbean (Puerto Rico in particular) is a rude word. More likely you will hear un flu or un gripe even if it's not the flu.
