Exclamation Buenos Aires

Hello I need help translating the following text into Spanish. I will be of so much help. Please help me out. Google translator or Bing provides funny sentences.
Its just 3 paragraphs from English to Spanish for a short presentation that I have to do about Buenos Aires.

"The city of Buenos Aires, Argentina's capital, is the largest city in Argentina with 203 square kilometers. Buenos Aires is also the third largest city in South America. The Rio de la Plata in the east and the Riachuelo in the south are the natural boundaries of the city.
A large part of the city has been built or renovated since 1900 and has a fairly modern look with wide streets and many tall buildings. The heart of the city is located near the coast and is near the Plaza de Mayo, the main square. The main shopping area and shopping center is to the north of the Plaza de Mayo and focuses on Florida Street, a narrow street open only to pedestrians during most of the day. Several of Buenos Aires places of interest are close to the main square.
It is important to know that Buenos Aires has four seasons but the climate is still mild throughout the year. Winter is from July to September and summer is from December to March because of the position of the city in the southern hemisphere."

Please post your own translation without the help of online translators and we will help you to correct or to explain what you need to know.

Here is what I tried

Good work!

Here are some suggestions and hints for improvement:

Varios de Buenos Aires lugares (These words need to be rearranged so the sentence makes sense) de interés están cerca de la Plaza principal.

Importante saber es (This is like Yoda speaking, try rearranging these words into a more suitable order) que Buenos Aires tiene cuatro temporadas pero el clima sigue siendo (*) suave (This is a fine word for a texture or something that gives you some sensation, but talking about weather, try using "templado" instead) durante todo el año.
(*) "Sigue siendo" is a good translation for "is still", but it's rather used when you speak about a situation that could have changed:

My dog is 15 years old but he's still agile and runs all over the yard.

This city is too polluted, but it's still beautiful.

For this specific situation, where it's the weather that stays "benign", I suggest you use the verb "permanecer".

(**) Look out. "Porque de" is a calque of English and it doesn't make sense in Spanish.

When you explain the cause of something, using "porque", this is the standard construction:

I'm not going to school today because it's snowing.

Now it's spring in Buenos Aires, because it's in the Southern Hemisphere.

When you state the cause of a situation ("because of"), "por" is preferred:

I'm not going to school today because of the snow.

Now it's spring in Buenos Aires because of it's geographic situation.

I hope you find this useful. If you need something to be clarified, ask the questions you need.
