Exam/an exam/exams

-The society now requires college students to fulfill a lot of moral duties. Being a student, I have already had a lot of burden on my shoulder. I have been studying for 15 years, and understand the sheer importance of going to school and gaining proper credentials. Exam is just a game.

Is it correct to use 'exam' simply without 'a/an/the' or using the plural?
