Question Dojo

Random House Unabridged defines dojo as follows,

do·jo n., pl. -jos.
a school or practice hall where karate, judo, or other martial arts are taught.
[1940–45; < Japn dojo Buddhist seminary, drill hall < MChin transliteration of Skt bodhi-manaa lit., seat of wisdom (equiv. to Chin dàochàng)]

I know in Spain and México the word "dojo" (pronounced "doyo") is used, yet I don't see it appear in DRAE nor Moliner.

Can anyone confirm "dojo" is the correct spelling in Spanish?

Any other comments or data on the word will be appreciated as well!

I didn't know this word, but in Google you can find "dojo", although I'm not sure.

Thank you, Irmamar... (I thought you went to the dojo every day to practice self-defense...)

No, I don't need it; I have my dog, who protects me better than I would do.

Ah, you don't need the dojo, because you have a dog-o... sorry, not a dogo at all, an Alsatian or German shepherd, rather...

Well, if anyone in Spain is familiar with "dojos"... or has an authoritative answer, say something...

(Dogo in Spanish = Mastiff, Great Dane)
