Most people don't drink alcohol with dinner. My father is one of the few exceptions, and he drinks it very rarely. I don't know anyone else who does that. Most people drink juice, milk, or just plain water, during dinner. A half a cup of water is good enough for me.

Who said it?

When?
Here in Mexico if you're 8 years old, you can see the children without parents drinking alcohol.

That's awful.

Yeah, I read about that. People here think it causes brain damage or something.

The drinking age in the United States is 21. Most people do not drink earlier than that, and certainly not 8 year olds.

mostly Chinese food that my mom cooks...a lot of them I refer to them by their Chinese name, and I don't know the English translation.

some examples: tofu, Chinese dumplings

Exactly the drinks in early ages could be causes some kind to damage in your brain, in fact you can see a lot of children there in the street when they are smelling drugs in front of the people and the police and either the government does nothing for get better the situation in my country and any country where there're children in the street smelling drugs.

Don't you believe it?

It would be quite impossible to go to sleep for several hours with all that in ones belly.
Here the largest meal is lunch. However, I never do large meals, I eat very often and few things, although in weekends I do larger lunchs because I eat with my family.

I always drink red wine with meals (never with breakfast ), and water along the day. I'm not able to drink milk, my body doesn't accept it and I wouldn't imagine to drink milk with meals (although I've seen it in films ). Juice just before dinner (I love tomato juice). When I can't drink wine with meals, I drink water.

Do you have diabetes? The two people that I know that do that have diabetes. Most people here think to eat a lot of small meals during the day is what causes people to become fat, even though it's not true.

Very interesting. I don't know many people (ok anybody) that would drink wine for lunch, not even older people, unless it was at a wedding or something. Personally, I can't stand wine. I tried non-alcoholic wine once, and it had way too strong of a taste--way too sour. During Communion at church, when they got to my friend, they had run out of grape juice and he told them to skip him, but they said "go ahead, you're allowed to drink the wine, because it's just a tiny amount and at church." he finally decided to try it. Afterwards he said it was the most horrible thing he's ever tasted. It must really change the taste of meals to drink wine with them! Is it really common to drink that much in your country?

Luckily my pacreas is in perfect conditions.

I think that great amount of food in one meal is what causes obesity, since the stomach becomes larger and it needs more and more food. I eat small quantities because I feel much better, light as a feather.

Here is common drinkin wine for lunch (the most important meal in Spain).

Usually, I have my lunch at 16 or 16:30 and I get up at 6 or before, so my stomach claims for food from time to time. That's why I eat often and a few quantity.

I think for me, three meals a day is the best. If I ate snacks, they would be the size of a regular meal, so I'd have 5 large meals instead of 3.

Like many things, wine is an acquired taste. The first time I had a sip as part of communion at church I ran to the toilets and threw up. Now I'm not a connoisseur but I do like most wines and have an idea of what I don't like.

Also, as a general rule, non-alcoholic wine tastes worse than the real thing, and red is for a more "mature" palate.

The red wine doesn't taste very well, at least for me, I didn't like its taster, because it's very bitter, I prefer to drink a Tequila or other kind to drinking.

Although there're investigation where the red wine is good of the hart.

Well, I don't know what kind of red wine you've tasted (there are many, even... ), but I live in the land of wine, olive oil, vegetables and sweet fruits (apples, pears, etc.). So, these products are common here and they have a good quality.

I have bought other kind to red wines, I've bought them in Soriana store, but well I don't know what is the brand.

Only I can tell you something about the red wine sold here in my country, it hasn't enough taste anyway.

Yours truly.
