To avoid an off-topic in another thread, this question on whether the word "gutter" is a translation for "cuneta" has been moved to have a dedicated thread.


Cuneta son los huecos que hay a ambos lados de muchas carreteras ( Gutter ? )

Sí, es a street gutter, si quieres diferenciarlo de las canaletas de los tejados (gutter). Pero todos son gutters. Lo que no sé es si los límites entre cuneta y zanja/zanjón son los mismos que entre gutter y ditch.
