Homework
This is an exercise I have to do and I do not understand it.
I have to pick the right verb tenses: Si Silvia trabajara/trabajaría menos podría/puediera tener más amigos. Ramón no estaría/estuviera triste si su novia no se fuera/iría a Suecia. Iker sacaría/sacara mejores notas si hiciera/haría los deberes. I know that the conditional often needs imperfect subjunctive, but I don´t understand how the future tense is used for possibilities or what the difference is. Thanks! |

Ok, well I would do it this way:
Si Silvia trabajara menos podría tener más amigos. Ramón no estuviera triste si su novia no iría a Suecia. Iker sacara mejores notas si haría los deberes. |

Quote:
The second and third examples are off... You are trying to say is, Ramón would not be sad if his girlfriend... Iker would get better grades if he... I hope the clues help you... (let me/us know)

Ramón no estaría triste si su novia no se fuera a Suecia.
Iker sacaría mejores notas si hiciera los deberes. Is that correct? Duh, I just realised what confused me. There is a difference between trabajara and trabajará! Now it makes sense, sorry, that was a dumb moment. Thanks so much for your help! |
