I did these about 2-3 months into learning Spanish, so I know the subject pronoun can be dropped; thanks.

Check your "curso de idiomas". You're missing the verb for some persons.

And "era aprender" doesn't make sense. What did you mean?

I meant "I was learning something every day in Spanish"

Use the verb "estar" instead then.

Almost. You need the "gerundio" (not to be confused with English "gerund") to introduce the idea of a continued action: estar + gerundio

For verbs whose infinitive ends with "-ar", the "gerundio" ending is "-ando".
amar -> amando
hablar -> hablando

For verbs whose infinitive ends with "-er" and "-ir", the "gerundio" ending is "-iendo".
comer -> comiendo
aprender -> aprendiendo
vivir -> viviendo
abrir -> abriendo


There is no easy language.

The correct way to say it is :

Yo estaba APRENDIENDO algo cada día ...
Tu estabas aprendiendo, etc... the APRENDIENDO stays the same, only the "estar" changes according to the person... yo estaba, tú estabas, él estaba.. etc.

Yes. Except of these:

Yo hacía un curso de idiomas cada semana
Tú hacías un curso de idiomas cada semana
Ella hacía un curso de idiomas cada semana
Nosotros un curso de idiomas cada semana - you forgot the verb here- hacíamos
Vosotros un curso de idiomas cada semana - same here - hacíais
Ustedes un curso de idiomas cada semana - and here - hacían


Also if you refer to many courses.. it should be : unos cursos de idiomas.. or if only one then un curso de idioma...
