In trio music played around here, some guitar solos that need a certain skill to play fast notes are called "requintos". That is why I thought it might be related to electric guitar riffs.

"Requinto" must be a south-american word , I am a metal guitar player and never heard of it.
"Enquintar" means to adjust the intonation at the bridge "Quinta" is a "fifth interval" I also know "plectrum" for "púa" "Trastero" in Spain is quite a different thing , it means a room for storing old stuff or things not often used ( trastos ) |
