What's the difference between alguna and cualquiera?

What's the difference between alguna and cualquiera?

They both mean "any", right? What are the differences in when to use the two?

cualquier, -a (any, as in "whichever")
Veré cualquier película. = I'll watch any film. (I'm not particular.)

algún, -o, -a (any, as in "one or more of something")
Si llega algún mensaje, ¿me lo guardas hasta que vuelva? = If any message arrives, will you keep it until I get back?
