Situation critical!
Hello everybody! My name is Matt and I'm an American currently living and studying in Moscow. I've been learning Spanish for one year and am on the verge of being expelled because I've failed Spanish too many times. I had little problem learning Russian but for me Spanish is extremely difficult. I have one week to get my act together
 or else! I hope to find a lot of helpful information here and get assistance from Spanish speakers to overcome my problems, and hopefully I'll stick around for awhile! If not, I guess that means things went terribly wrong  .Anyways! Hello all again, nice to meet everybody.

Welcome. Unlike Russian, many English and Spanish words have similar roots. The structure is different though. People here can help you.

Thanks all! I passed the test today. 70%, not perfect but good enough! The stem changes, spelling, and irregularities of so many Spanish verbs has me in sort of a tailspin... For now I think I'll continue lurking here until I work up enough courage to actually start writing in Spanish
