Jessica Animus mean Animo right.
And my last phrase was well, Rusty apologize me, it mean Rusty disculpame. Later you corrected me, this phrase I will try to do my post better, it mean Tratare de hacer mi post mejor.

Crotalito,
You've asked about some corrections that Jessica made. Her corrections are good. Of course, there are other ways to say what you want to say. I'll give you other ways to say what you wrote. discúlpame = forgive me te pido perdón = forgive me (or I ask forgiveness) lo siento = I'm sorry (or I apologize) Apologize me no existe. Usa forgive me o I'm sorry cuando pides perdón. Animus is an English word, borrowed from Latin, but we don't use it very often and when we do use it, it seldom means ánimo. Cuando queremos decir no tengo ánimo (o las ganas) de/para hacer algo decimos I don't feel (much) like (doing something) o I'm not in the mood to do something. A bit of slack se usa cuando hablamos de una cuerda que está floja. Si hablas de la vagancia, decimos a bit lazy. Original post: Quote:

mejorar algo (hacer algo mejor) = to make something better mejorar algo (hacer algo mejor) = to do something better mejorar algo (hacer algo mejor) = to improve something mejorar = to do better; to improve I'll try to do my posts better no suena bien. Decimos make en este caso. |

Ok, then I can to say forgive me, and I don't feel much like writing today, because I'm bit lazy and I will try to improvise better my English tomorrow.
Bit lasy: Flojo Forgive me: perdoname or lo siento seldom: animo. Thanks for you corrections Rusty.
