Question A barrel of laughs
In Spanish please?

Main Entry: barrel of laughs
Definition: something or someone who is very funny
Example: This board game is a barrel of laughs.
Usage: slang



This can also be used ironically or as ' He/she isn't exactly a barrel of laughs..' (about a person that is very serious or has little sense of humour).

I can't think of something that fits the description exactly, but in Spain we would say something like "es/no es la alegría de la huerta".

Parece que no hay expresiones parecidas en otros paises hispanohablantes tampoco, porque no hubo nadie que contesta salvo tú .

Supongo que no hay (haya?) 'barrel of laughs' - personas allí (just joking..)

Supones mal. Claro que tienen risa en España, hasta carcajadas tienen, pero no se las ponen en un barril.

Me alegra oírlo..

Bueno.. no se las ponen en un barril.. salvo tal vez cuando uno está borracho como una 'cuba'..


Pd me gusta mucho la palabra 'carcajada' / ' reírse a carcajadas' aún no conocí. En Holandés se llama ' schaterlachen' o 'Het uitschateren'

O "destriparse a carcajadas", "romperse el culo de (la) risa".

And i'm sure there's lots of other ways!
