As far as I know there is no word for busker in Spanish.

Yes, they do. But we would say something like 'Toca la guitarra en la calle'.

I think "busker" must be specific in Spanish:

Músico/bailarín/payaso/mimo (etc.) callejero.


@Bob: "No se permiten vagos/vagabundos" might be the expression for "no loitering", but I have never seen it in writing as an official warning.

Supongo que es porque donde vivo ya no hay carteles diciendo "Prohibido fijar carteles", está prohibido en todas partes excepto en las zonas destinadas a ello. Digo yo que será por eso

Same here, I have never seen an advertisement that prohibite to put signs.

Gracias a todos.
Me gusta trovador. Una palabra muy antigua que se traduce el concepto bastante bien; artistas callejeras que tocan la guitarra, pintoras, cantores y malabaritas en la calle.
