How do I say "i study Spanish"
Hi,
How do I say " I study Spanish"? I know if I study in school, will be Estudio en una escuela, so I try to form i study Spanish. Is it "estudio Español" or "estudio es Español"? Thanks in advance. ![]() |

When one says "estudio (un idioma)", the article is not necessary.
Estudio español. Estudio portugués. etc. But the gender of the word is a masculin: "el español", "el portugués", "el francés", because it refers to "el idioma".

Right, Fazor: "estudiar", "aprender", "hablar", "enseñar", when followed by a language ("español", "inglés", "portugués", "alemán", "swahili", etc.) or as Irma said, a subject ("matemáticas", "geografía", "historia", "química", etc.).
